PEAR::IT

Hi, well I am hereby ending my mediation on the IT issues. Some good has come of it as you can see in the form of the recent update. However there is still no real agreement on how to proceed from here. As both developers have made clear to me they will continue to work on this in one form or another. So I am pretty sure we will soon have an IT that features most of what Alexey has proposed. Undoubtly we will have to find a method to resolve these types of conflicts more cleanly in the future. The biggest problem in my mediation attempt was that it came too late. The trenches were already dug too deep and the sides had grown too bitter in mistrust already. The lesson to learn is that we should intervene earlier when tempers start to get too high.
