The GD driver for Image_Transform tries to guess if it's running on GD1
or GD2, but a couple of tests are wrong (i.e.: they always fail, no
matter what the version is).
The outcome is that it always uses the GD1 functions, resulting in a
considerable loss of quality after resizing an image.
