Hi there, I hope some CVS guru can help me out here... I´ve tried to rename a file extension to lowercase in the LiveUser project. The only way to do this (that I know of) is to remove that file, rename it locally, and then re-add it. I did this, and this is what CVS has to say about my plans: cvs add Auth_XML.xml (in directory F:\WinCVS_Root\pear\Perm_LiveUser\sql\) cvs server: re-adding file Auth_XML.xml (in place of dead revision 1.4) cvs server: use 'cvs commit' to add this file permanently *****CVS exited normally with code 0***** cvs commit -m "Changed file extension to lowercase (as specified in the package.xml)" Auth_XML.xml (in directory F:\WinCVS_Root\pear\Perm_LiveUser\sql\) RCS file: /repository/pear/Perm_LiveUser/sql/Auth_XML.xml,v done assertion "*rcsnode == NULL" failed: file "commit.c", line 2062 cvs [server aborted]: received abort signal *****CVS exited normally with code 1***** Result: Now the file ain´t in CVS at all and I can´t commit it. What´s wrong here? Regards, Markus
