When I use pear install DB it install DB-1.4b [node16f98:~] root# pear install DB this command installs the last version (1.4b), not the last stable version (1.3)IIRC pear should install the latest version (stable, devel whatever) but should only upgrade to the latest stable if you currently have a stable version installed. I know that this may still not be what people really want and we have discussed alternatives. Is this correct?
