(I am catching up w/ my email just today). As mentioned above, I tried
inheriting from that, but the filename and linenumbers generated were always
incorrect, and referred to the line in the subclass that called the parent's
constructor. And unless I specifically pass those vars in the constructor of
the derived class, I did not see a simple way to get around that, thus the
standalone class.
