From: alan at akbkhome dot com Operating system: linux PHP version: 4CVS-2003-04-15 (stable) PHP Bug Type: PEAR related Bug description: Pear installer - extension re-install segfault the pear installer should check to see if an extension that is about to be installed is actually being used example: xdebug extension is loaded in php.ini pear install -f xdebug....tgz while segfault when the .so is copied to the php extension directory. doing a simple php -r 'copy('.....xdebug.so','/usr/share/php/xdebug.so');' will cause a bus error.
