Got to concur w/ Alan here. The code mixes what would be an Iterator on top of an array. Does not look like the individual nodes have a link to the next one in the list, like would be the definition for this data structure. If that were the case the insert()/remove() methods would be simpler, there will be no need to push elements in the array down or up. Here is again a good resource (in case people missed in the OLE thread): http://www.nist.gov/dads and info on linked lists: http://www.nist.gov/dads/HTML/linkedList.html http://ciips.ee.uwa.edu.au/~morris/Year2/PLDS210/lists.html So -1 for the class as it stands now. A general package for data structures would be nice, and as someone mentioned, Sterling is working on some ADTs as a PHP extension. --- Alan Knowles <alan@akbkhome.com> wrote: > This does look like wrapping php's array functions for the sake of > making them look like java. as such I would have to say > -1 > > Regards > Alan > > > Jon Wood wrote: > > >I've just thrown together a really simple linked list, since I needed > >one today, and would like to know what people think about adding it to > >PEAR once it's cleaned up a bit. > > > >At the moment it's mostly CS compliant, but needs some documenting > >before I'd be happy releasing it. > > > >Answers on the back of a postcard to my address :P > > > >Jon > > > > > > > > -- > PEAR Development Mailing List (http://pear.php.net/) > To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php > ===== --- Jesus M.
