Hi Lukas,
I had some problems a while ago using stuff like
PEAR::setErrorHandling(PEAR_ERROR_CALLBACK, 'error_handler');
It did not go down well with MDB, because creating an MDB connection would
internally create errors which would call my error_handler even though the
connection was created without problems. That seems to have disappeared
now. Good stuff.
I was wondering if other packages are now moving from DB to MDB. I think
that especially new or Alpha packages should consider switching over to
MDB.
