I like to have an admin tool as Net_Cyrus but I propose to use Net_IMAP
as a backend to implement it.
Cyrus Administration Tool (cyradm) is based on RFC2087 (imap quota)
and RFC2086 (imap acl) (both implemented by Cyrus IMAP server) but only
uses a subset of its power. (for example you can set quota by number of
messages also cyrus supports it but cryradm does not implement it).
Net_IMAP also implements DIGEST-MD5,CRAM-MD5, LOGIN and PLAIN auth
methods (and automaticaly chooses the best method) so we can use those
methods to add encryption to remote Net_Cyrus connections.
If you like I can send a patch to your class to let you try it.
What do you think?
