OK, so I'm writing Auth_HMAC and I'm thinking:
"ok, I gotta access the database, I'll use MDB... but how do I know the credentials" (partly how my other mail came about)
So this brings me to another question, whats the general concensus on configurations for packages... should it be set at runtime each time the class is used?
i.e.
$auth_hmac = new Auth_HMAC();
$auth_hmac->setDSN('DSNHERE');
$auth_hmac->protect(1);
or is there a specific config file I should be using? like a unified config with a set syntax? does it use PEAR::Config?
Do I just choose my own?
any thoughts on this are welcome...
