Hello,
I wish to report a bug or what I call a "accuracy lack" with pear::db
1.4b1 with a PostgreSQL (7.3.2 in my usecase).
If I use a PostgreSQL user that is allowed to connect to a Database
"MyDatabase" that contains a table where this user don't have grant to
this table. And if I make a SQL query with this user on this table,
pear::db will give me the "Unknown error"...
I think that pear::db should return a "Permission denied" error instead
returning a "Unknown error".
Do you plan to provide more accurate errors messages in a future pear::db
package release ? Whithout accurate errors messages it makes harder the
debugging work ! I've just lost one week before understanding that my DBA
admin has forgotten giving me grant access to a table ! :-S
Thanks again for the nice job you've done until now ! :-)
