OK, this is in CVS as docs/renderers/labels-default.php, the Default renderer is patched. BTW, I changed the logic in the renderer a bit: if array has numeric indexes, then additional labels' placeholders start with {label_2}, not with {label_0}: seemed more logical to me. :]
