Hi!
I'd like to propose a new Package for the Console Category,
Console_ProgressBar.
It makes it easy to display a progress bar in the console, like wget
does. The look of the bar can easily be changed by altering the format
strings passed to the constructor. When initializing it, you pass a
target number that you want to reach (100%). Then you call the update()
method, passing the current status 0 <= $status <= $target, to refresh
the display. when done, you call the finish() method (That makes sure
100% are displayed and not 99.99% due to some rounding issues).
You can view the source at

DocBook documentation will follow when i'm familiar with the format.
