Because AFAIK it is not a DB driver but something else.
As a side note. I also would be interested in (and started
allready writing) a file driver for PEAR DB. Basically
it would be possible to make SQL queries against CSV files.
Eeach file being a "table" and a directory of CSV files
a "database". It is just the time I am missing. If someone has a
nice description on how DB_Result objects are built I would be
interested.
