Hi,
is there something like a PEAR_Debug class/method available, similar to
PEAR_Error? The difference would be that PEAR_Error is only called when
errors occure while PEAR_Debug provides debugging information to developers
or users of a package (what would be different to PEAR_Error::getDebugInfo(),
wouldn't it?) to trace the behaviour of package routines.
For example, PEAR::SOAP can be run in debug mode and has its own debug
routines implemented. I haven't found a general PEAR_Debug class yet.
The purpose of this class would be, to write debug information to several
outputs like error_log file, stdout, email, etc. This could be implemented
along the PEAR_Error API, e.g. PEAR::setDebugHandling() <->
PEAR::setErrorHandling() .
