Hi guys!
Hope you all had nice trips home from the conference!
I got some stuff to do with parsing different kind of logs (in
this case Apache, Postfix and WUftpd) an thought about writing
some general classes for this issue. I don't really know how to
design the architecture and such stuff (fresh born idea), but
I'd like to have someone with me in this project, so we try to
implement it as flexible as we can.
So, if anyone has to much spare-time in the next few weeks and
is interessted in parsing different application-logs, please
feel invited to join this project!
Another issue which I would like to discuss on the list is the
general architecture of the things to come... Has anyone done
such a system? I'd like something like a set of base-classes to
extend every parser class from, to get a unified API.
Thanks for your ideas and support!
Regards,
Toby
