How to contribute to PEAR?

Do we already have a mechanism to contribute to PEAR? I offered some Chemistry related classes (already PEAR-ified and w/ docs from PHPDoc), but did not get any clear and definitive answer (at the time) about if something like Sci/Math related classes were wanted in PEAR or not. That was he reason why I had not gone through my matrix/vector/complex number/etc classes and PEAR-ified them.
