Hey, I don't know if this has already been discussed, but I think it would be an interesting idea to have Unit tests which persist across the PEAR framework. If you use Unit tests, when you release a new PEAR package, the package can automagically be tested, to make sure it passes all of its Unit tests. In the same vein, users can test distributed packages, like: % pear test Net_Curl Which will run the unit tests on the package, and make sure nothing is wrong. I think it might be a nice way of managing and QA'ing things. -Sterling -- "The three most dangerous things in the world are a programmer with a soldering iron, a hardware type with a program patch and a user with an idea."- Unknown-- PEAR Development Mailing List (http://pear.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
