Rather than break existing code, could you not make the current behaviour the default and make it possible to use the new bahaviour by means of a configuration switch? That way both camps (I'm sure they exist) are happy!

Hi, I just wanted to collect some opinions about a change in Pager_Sliding, since it seems to be quite popular and I don't want to introduce changes if the users don't desire them. Basically an user has requested to change the current behaviour from this (let's suppose current page is #2): [1] < 2 3 4 5 > [N] to: [1] < 1 2 3 4 > [N] i.e. the link to the first/last page would be redundant, but two links are better than one, provided the second one is for free :-) If someone is against this change, please speak now or forever hold your peace. Another thing: the next release will see another option to customize the text for first/last page too. If someone has some other suggestions or requests, please tell me ASAP, so I'll add them in the same release (if they're useful, of course :-) Best regards, Lorenzo
