Maybe methods could be called eval_derivate(), eval_integrate()? (not sure if
those are the correct english terms)
And another issue: one-liners should have brackets too:
if (abs($est - $last) < $epsilon * abs($est)) {
return $est;
}
instead of:
if (abs($est - $last) < $epsilon * abs($est))
return $est;
