I believe I will find some use for the package... +1 Joe Lee. -----Original Message----- From: Stefan Walk [mailto:swalk@prp.physik.tu-darmstadt.de] Sent: Friday, May 16, 2003 2:51 PM To: pear-dev@lists.php.net Subject: [PEAR-DEV] Voting Reminder: Console_ProgressBar Hi! Some while ago i proposed a package, Console_ProgressBar. No objections were made, but so far only 3 + votes were made. So, could you please either say what has to be altered or vote for this package? ;) Stefan from the original email: -------------------------------- It makes it easy to display a progress bar in the console, like wget does. The look of the bar can easily be changed by altering the format strings passed to the constructor. When initializing it, you pass a target number that you want to reach (100%). Then you call the update() method, passing the current status 0 <= $status <= $target, to refresh the display. when done, you call the finish() method (That makes sure 100% are displayed and not 99.99% due to some rounding issues).
