Hi Jorgen,
There is already a package in PEAR that deals with ini files, it's Config.
There is a basic version that uses parse_ini_file and a version with more
features that deals with comments, blank lines, duplicate directives, etc.
It also deals with xml, php array, basic apache configuration files. You can
review the code and tell me if you find something that's missing. Plans are
made to support MACOSX plist, DB and WDDX. In case you want to contribute....
