Hi all,
Those of you who use HomeSite 5.2+ to develop may be interested in a modified syntax highlighter I've put together that fixes a few small bugs in the default one distributed with HomeSite, and adds syntax highlighting for phpDocumentor-style in-code documentation.
Bugs fixed include:
-"as" was not a reserved word
-new PHP 4.3 functions are now recognized
- ?> in a comment shunted out of highlighting incorrectly
Additions include:
-recognition of /** */ documentation comments and /**#@+ */ /**#@-*/ documentation templates
-recognition of tags like @see, and of inline tags like {@link}
Send me an email if you'd like the parser, source or compiled. Installation is simple, just replace PHP4.scc with the compiled file, and it is up and running, or add it to the Parsers subdirectory of the Program Files/Macromedia/HomeSite dir and add a registry key (I will send the details with the parser for those who want it).
Regards,
Greg
