Hi all, It's been a while since I informed the pear public of what is going on. First of all, phpdoc.org was down for a while, Josh moved to a new server with bigger bandwidth and a few other bells and whistles. Things should be back up and running, although anonymous cvs is reporting some problems that we are working on. The repository will be switching to subversion when we are sure that this will work without screwing things up, and that will make checkouts much simpler and more secure. On the development front, all but three known bugs are fixed, and all unknown bugs are fixed (ha! wouldn't it be nice to be able to say that?) I leave town for 3 weeks on Friday, so the 1.2.0 final release will be this week. Please test a phpDocumentor anon cvs or cvs snapshot on your projects, and report bugs at sf.net/projects/phpdocu before Wednesday night, otherwise they won't be fixed for the release, and you'll have to wait until July or so :). Good news is that a new HTML:Smarty template was submitted by a user today, and it is very snazzy. use HTML:Smarty:HandS to try it out. In addition, the new web interface designed by Andrew Eddie, docbuilder, is working nicely cross-OS (report any bugs you find on Mac, we don't have a Mac environment to test on), and features nice things like screenshots of every converter when you're trying to choose. Anyone with any interest in coding a GTK interface, please sign on the dotted line. In addition, I've discovered the source of the upload problems on pear.php.net, all we need is an admin with enough karma to change 2 lines in php.ini, and the upload will work (no coding involved). The problem is that current php.ini settings don't actually allow files larger than 2 MB to be uploaded in spite of the 16MB published limit, and HTTP_Upload doesn't yet know how to express this error (also easily fixed, thank goodness). So, in a word, the first stable release of phpDocumentor through PEAR will be this week. Regards, Greg -- phpDocumentor http://www.phpdoc.org
