Umm, I was trying:
$db = DB::connect();
$db->setErrorHandling(PEAR_ERROR_DIE);
$db->nextID('non_existant', false);
and worked fine. But with PEAR::setErrorHandling not. I've found the
bug now. Please update again PEAR.php.
