Seems is might perhaps > fit in the package.xml file or under the package docs directory. I tend to favor vim/gvim for XML editing. There are docbook plugins for that editor at www.vim.org that will make your life easier. The main feature you will love from gvim/vim is the folding that uses the syntax file definition. As for the where to put the documentation, it should reside in the appropriate directory in the peardoc CVS tree (see cvs.php.net/cvs.php/peardoc). Also, you might want to subscribe to the pear-doc mailing list for the discussions on thist topic. I would recommend reading the howto we have for the PHP manual documentation, you can get it from: http://www.php.net/get/dochowto That should get you started w/ the whole Docbook stuff. I tend to also keep a local copy of the Docbook reference from www.docbook.org, to make sure I am using the correct tags (I also have the O'reilly book for when I am not close to a internet connection, no wireless yet). Ah!, before I forget: +1 on your proposed package. HTH ===== -- Jesus M.
