Think the Amazon SOAP service could be easily implemented with PEAR::SOAP using
the WSDL proxy code but whether this is something for PEAR? Perhaps someone could
add it to the examples for PEAR::SOAP? Having said that, last time I played with
the Amazon SOAP service, when listing say books, you could only get one book at
a time (which means a list of 10 books becomes 10 seperated HTTP requests - very
slow).
Their REST based XML service may be something that could be handled by SaxFilters
with the help of an HTTP client. Again could be something for example code.

I hadn't seen that one. I also haven't seen addressed anywhere the Amazon Shopping Cart features that also come with the API. Being not really sure exactly of what the package(s) would look like yet, is it even something that belongs in PEAR.I don't know about belonging to PEAR but there is something like XML_Amazon: http://www.amazonlite.com/ Peter -- PEAR Development Mailing List (http://pear.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
