+1 for the package. For the name, since
PEAR_PackageFile_Manager describes it better,
I think it should be the right one.
Uh, it might already be there, but I haven't seen that:
what about a "destinationDir" option to choose where
to save the package.xml file (I mean, an option to
chose a location different from the package dir)?
