question to all about PHP_Parser functionality

Hi, Is there interest in a separate Doc comment parsing package that would interface with the PHP_Parser, or work as a standalone? The Doc comment parser would be plugin-oriented to allow parsing of different doc comment formats, and would basically be the doc comment parser that I am developing for phpDocumentor. Plans are to be able to document phpDocumentor-style doc comments, doxygen-style doc comments, and if other weird formats come along, to support them as well. This will be useful for projects like PDS, and possibly for the PEAR installer's source code analyser, as it could use this to verify that documentation exists for packages, in the quest for PFC. The primary use will be for phpDocumentor, and for a utility to convert comment types from one to another (one could convert from phpDocumentor doc comments to doxygen and back easily if they are both parsed into the same kind of structure). Is there interest in a PHP_DocComment_Parser package? Greg
