Me too, there are a lot of things that could be done with a class like this,
e.g. write a chat server that sends streaming data to several clients. There
would be no need to start a new process for each client, all connections are
handled by a single process..
But now I'm waiting for the others to agree or disagree on this package :-(
If I get enough votes, I could release the first alpha version today...
