The code is at least stable enough for serious alpha testing, and since it
has become binary safe, I think the people could coupe with the minor
changes in the API, and consider it beta testing.

Since I don't have lead level access to Net_NNTP, I can't publish anything
on the pear web, so help me out here.
I haven't yet been given cvs access (applied today), but since the amount of
changes is quite noticeable, I'd really like if they were committed in the
near future...
