Our company does webhosting for our customers, doesn't it make sense
when I want to install all stable packages on the webserver, so the
customer can decide which nice PEAR package he wants to use and which
not?
You are right, some ppl just will use install-all because they are lazy
to lookup the 3 packagename he wants. And this would do increase the
bandwidth usage, but what is about my webserver for customers??
Altough, lets think a bit further, I got an email of a package
maintainer für a new Linux distri, he's creating distri pacakges out of
the PEAR packages, what about him?
That 99.9% sounds too harsh to me, I think there should be way to get
all packages but less documenated, if someone loves PEAR, let him get
it!
Just my 2 cents...
