Hello,
For all of you campers who want to know about the mysterious and magical install-as, configure-options, and replacement features of PEAR's package.xml, fear not, there is finally documentation available. It isn't exactly where you would expect, just pear install PEAR_PackageFileManager and read the in-file documentation or the phpDocumentor-generated version of those docs in the docs/ directory
