[RfC] XML_Util

Hi, recent discussions about XML_Serializer led to the plan to build a package that provides useful methods for working (and mainly generatin) XML files. The class would provide methods like: - replaceEntities() - attributesToString() - isValidTagName() - isValidAttributeName() - createXMLDeclaration() Some of the methods have been implemented in different XML packages and I think it would be better to have one package that supplies commonly needed functionality. So this is my package proposal, as I need the methods in my XML_Serializer and I'd like to release it as soon as possible. If no one objects, I'd start coding the package tommorrow and release it this weekend. I'm not quite sure about the name, I'd prefer XML_Util or simply XML. Stephan
