if Pear::DB is implemented in C, would it be desirable to have a method
specifically for Stored Procedures ? In Python DBAPI2.0 there is CallProc.
it seems to me to be somewhat neater and more explicit than using a
catch-all "execute". i think SP handling is a sore spot in PHPs database
libraries.
also, how far would you go with emulation (e.g. sequences for MySql) or
should certain things be left at the PHP level (i know such things can
inspire religious fervor)
