Regards, MatthiasThis is a pretty big change that is proposed, so I think at least 2 weeks should be allowed for comments, and then it should be documented, and then it should be implemented in the packages. The best way to do this is to make it a requirement for PFC for existing packages, and to make it a requirement for acceptance into PEAR for new packages. This may cause resistance, so it will have to be EXTREMELY well-documented with many examples of good use available. Since it is a new idea, I think it should be implemented in a few packages before it is set in stone, and documented as a fluid standard until it is finalized. Greg
