First I would like to say how impressed I am with this package, the documentation
and examples are great. Makes it very easy to get up to speed.
======
Background;
I downloaded a fresh php4.3.3RC3 (on Win2KSP4) then ran go-pear, all worked
without a hitch.
This is a great system!
I installed PEAR_Frontend_Web and dependencies using the command line then used
Frontend_Web to
install other packages. I love Frontend_Web!
The only thing I noticed in all this was that sometimes a package install would
fail
(eg HTML_Progress) and just show a red X next to the package. It was not obvious
why it
failed. After looking at the package info it was clear that the problem was with
dependencies. I installed the required packages then tried again and then it
worked. Some
sort of error message on package install failure would be great.

HTML_Progress
One thing I have noticed is that the view source link in the examples does not
work.
It calls show.php which is missing.
