Announcing the PEAR Group

Hi folks, I'm pleased to announce the forming of "the PEAR Group", which will be the governing body of PEAR. The group consists of the following individuals (in no particular order): Lukas Smith Pierre-Alain Joye Martin Jansen Jesus M. Castagnetto Alan Knowles Tomas V.V.Cox Jon Parise Stig S. Bakken These guys may also be reached at pear-group@php.net. The group's first task is to regulate itself. I would like to emphasize that the purpose of the PEAR Group is not to add bureaucracy, but to ensure that decisions are being made, efficiently and fairly. Feel free to email pear-group@ if you have opinions on decision processes or other issues.
