Hi there
Just used Config to create a config-Array from a XML-File, worked fine, but one variable was always wrong converted. I thought this was because of wrong usage and tried some things ending in editing the XML-File until the problem was gone - so i though ;-)
For example
...
<item>inc_functions.php</item>
...
was converted to
...["item"] = "ctions.php"
the chars he cut off changed when i deleted cheras in items before this one, so i thought this could be some kind of parsing problem, and it really is! In XML_Parse the parse()-method reads data with fread() and a block-size of 2048 and parses these chunks. It seems like PHP's xml-parser doesn't like this, when i changed it to a full read&parse it worked fine.
PHP's manual for xml_parse() says that it is ok to parse it in chunks, so I don't know what could be the problem here, could it be misconfiguration here?
I'm using PHP 4.3.2...
Bye, Stephan
