That's already in my Common.php - checked this.
Arnaud already checked with PEAR 1.2.1 under Linux and Windows - and
packaging worked fine for him. So I tracked down the problem - and
it's inside Archive_Tar afaik. It wasn't "too early" to mail Vincent
about this in my yes.
Maybe you have another suggestion what to "try first"?
