I've taken a look at your patch, but I didn't like it! If you hand over
a resource to a large file (let's say 100 MB), the whole file is read to
memory, which will PHP cause to die at most configurations (memory limit
is 8MB). So even if it's theoretically backwards compatibel, it _will_
break applications that work with large files and rely on stream
processing... BTW, using Stream_Var you can already use XML_Parser with
a string...
But as I wanted to do some improvements, I'll work on that subject,
too....
