Which Debian are you using? Unstable? Might there be a cause somehow? Could you please verify if it also works for you if you turn compression off in Archive_Tar (just generating a tar-package, not a tgz)? If the problem at yours is also in Archive_Tar or related I hope I'll soon find a fix for this. Have scheduled for a meeting (via Internet) with Vincent (author of Archive_Tar) for the beginning of next week so we can have a closer look at the gzip-things involved. Will keep you informed on our findings Stefan On 28 Aug 2003 at 12:39, Dmitri Vinogradov wrote: > Same here, no packages can be created: > > Linux (Debian) > PEAR Version: 1.2.1 > PHP Version: 4.3.3RC3 > Zend Engine Version: 1.3.0 > > Regards > DV > > "Stefan Neufeind" <stefan@neufeind.net> schrieb im Newsbeitrag > news:3F4600FD.12827.A0D8AB@localhost... > > On 22 Aug 2003 at 11:36, LIMBOURG Arnaud wrote: > > > > > > I just tried doing a "pear package" again.
