Is anything special happening when I'm logged in this way? -- Marshall RochMarshall, Do you have two pear installs? Could it be that a difference in path between the users means that you are using a difference pear install with each user? Try running "pear config-show" and see if theres differences, I presume that the root users config show will have a higher verbose level than the standard user. - Davey
