I agree that File_ChessPGN (or File_PGN - I wanted ChessPGN to avoid confusion with PNG) should be in file formats. I'm asking about a separate package which has nothing to do with files that will be used to simulate a chess board and chess rules, just to clarify. In other words, it will act as a place to actually play the games found in a PGN file, which can be used to graphically render the board, or to create FEN diagrams for specific positions - or anything you can do with a normal chessboard. Regards, GregHi, I've been working on a little side project for fun that is a combination of a PGN file manipulator, and a chessboard validator (sort of). The chessboard validator can be used to play a game of chess, since it sequentially validates each move. However, it also stores the game in a format that can be then converted to PGN using File_ChessPGN. The question is, where would such a chess package belong? It's not a validator, it's sort of a processor, but does not contain a chess engine that you could play against. Should it simply be in a new category called Games? Processing_Chess seems a bit odd to me, but is better than Science_Chess or Structures_Chess :). Any bright ideas?Man, you work too much ! :) Did you mean PNG ? If not what is PGN ? File formats ?
