Nice idea, but isn't it overkill? Well for now I will not start to add emulations for this kind of stuff. Maybe in the long run this stuff might be get emulations. Yeah the point is that you stay in the same API, the same debug handling, the same resource management even if you decide to not be portable. Some of these methods may even be portable across some supported RDBMS as I mentioned before (autoincrement). Regards, Lukas
