My understanding of DB_DataObject is that there is a fixed structure where
business rules can be applied. This is the antithatis of that. This is one
of the fundamental underlying requirements for a completely flexible
structure where an application, data rules, etc. are all defined in the
database. It is often laffingly refered to around here as "THE UNIVERSAL
DATABASE". Where the code is small containers that are very
compartmentalized and completely dependent on the database for definition on
how to act. This is a fundemental requirment of the ad-hock view of the
world, which is why I proposed it first.
I will set up a demo site with the application as it is (running on PHPLib)
and then post a follow up...
Thanks,
Rob
