You are right - this is too restrictive. I am currently doing a big cleanup inside this class and I will change this also. For people curious about BC breaks: The next version will be much cleaner but fully BC. Internally it will use a slightly different db model which is fully compatible with the current. So trees created with the next release will work with the next major release also. I will introduce some flags which will make the migration to the next major release pretty straightforward. regards Daniel Khan
