Hi,
I know that the "stable" normally refers to the API etc. - but are
"release-candidates" allowed in stable? Or asking differently: Would
be a stable-stable-branch make sense? So that people could try out a
new RC of a stable-package and others could stick to the latest
"really stable"? Noticed DB 1.50RC2 today - not to say that anything
instable was in there that I found - but I asked myself if the naming
with RC is commonly agreed upon. Or should there have been 1.5.0 and
1.5.1 better? And how about releasing release-*candidates*?
Stefan
