#121 [Opn->Csd]: after update from php 4.3.1 to 4.3.3 labels are not drawn

ID: 121 User updated by: volker dot augustin at multiartstudio dot com Reported By: volker dot augustin at multiartstudio dot com -Status: Open +Status: Closed Bug Type: Image_GraphViz Operating System: linux PHP Version: 4.3.3 New Comment: problem with missing labels solved. the problem of the missing labels was not in graphwiz pear module, but also this might help some other people, or may be listed in the pear_module readme or what else ;) ....for the 'archive': the problem was that i used freetype v 2.0.2 with graphviz and php 4.3.2, that was ok. but after updating php to 4.3.3 i also updated freetype 2 to v2.1.5. so dot and neato cant use the new freetype2 lib. i compiled the old version of freetype 2(v2.0.2) and installed in somewhere out of the system, and linked graphviz (e.g. v 1.10) against the old freetype2 lib, and use this 'downgraded' dot and neato command, graphviz commands dot and neato draw the labels successfully. great. i will close this 'bug' now, volker Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-10-18 16:23:56] volker dot augustin at multiartstudio dot com i recognized i used a new freetype2 library for php update, so in downloaded the latest version of graphviz (v1.10) and compiled against the newest installed freetype2 library too. installed , overwriting old binaries, but labels are not shown...., also verified carefully output of running dot with an example dot-file with -Tpng, got an png with graph but without labels. Font file was found, i tried different ones without font-errors on console. then dumping to a file and views with netscape. no labels. so this is not a problem of the pear module, and regarding to this, not a bug, sorry. (its NOT always /tmp ;-) now i upgraded to php 4.3.3 and installe dgrahviz with the pear command, i did my changes to the path......and the diagram is shown. bit no labes are drawn.....so i got only boxes, circles and edges, but no text on it...... i dont find any hints on the net about this. i also put a link, or some links the /usr/X11/lib.......blabla/fonts ir wehereever i expect graphviz to lok for the fonts, like described in some docs....... i already did this sometimes ago, and in php 4.3.1 there was no problem with this. whats wrong? all custom statistics belongs to graphviz and cant be displayed now for some weeks i digged for this annoying problem.
