Hi folks,
finally, the first release is out - v0.1, as you've already seen in
the announcements.
Please note:
People who wish to try it out might experience a small problem: There
is a depencendy to Image_Text, which itself is in pear - no problem.
But Image_Text has a dependency to Image_Tools, which Tobias Schlitt
has not yet uploaded to pear.php.net - why ever. For the moment
please grab this package from:
http://www.schlitt.info/Image_Tools/Image_Tools-0.1.tgz
Your comments on Image_Graph are surely welcome. Please note it's an
early version. There are already many more ideas that need to find
it's way into the class in the next releases.
One (big?) limitation of the current release: The "ticks" (separators
on the Y-axes) aren't yet automatically generated by an algorithm.
This is due to the fact that I didn't find a generic way to generate
meaningful way to generate proper ticks automatically - for all
ranges from 0,0001 to 100.000.000 or so. You see the problem?
Meanwhile you can supply the class an array which values on which you
like it to set ticks. Like: array (0, 5, 10, 15, 20). This is not
ideal but works for the moment.
I'd be happy if somebody has an idea to to write such an automatic
algorithm. Your contributions are very much appreciated.
Have a nice weekend - and enjoy the PHP-Conference in Frankfurt!
